Save Me Zidane

Princess Garnet wanted to escape the castle. Feeling trapped by the dark deeds that are secretly haunting the castle by her mother's doing made her feel in distress. She had to help her somehow.

She trained and on her 16th bithday, decided to escape. That is where she met Zidane dressed as one of her gaurds. Distrusted, Garnet leaps from a tower to get away from him. Realizing who he was, she requests that he kidnap her. Thus, their journey began.

Trying to fit in, Garnet changed her name to Dagger and tried to talk as a commoner. Thanks to Zidane, she got use to both the name and her change of accent. They shared many painful, destructive, angry, fearful and courages moments. Zidane taught her many things.

Throughout all they had been through. Garnet changed into a stronger, braver person and also taught her how to follow to her heart rather than what she "thinks" she must do. His words impacted her greatly. Due to a turn of events, Garnet chops her hair out signifying a change, a separation from her weak self so that she could move on.

Saving the world, she lost Zidane. But when he shows up again, Garnet had taken the title as queen but still rushed down to him. Without thinking, her feet moved. She ran carelessly, yearning for Zidane until her pendant came off. It was then she realized the decison she had to make. The pendant attached her to her royal status; a symbol that greatly divided Zidane and Garnet.

Would her people disapprove...? Zidane taught her that it was okay to be selfish sometimes especially when it came to her happiness. Inspired by his words, Garnet leaves the pendant behind and rushed through the crowd to Zidane. She throws her crown on the ground and leaps into Zidane's arms not as Queen Garnet till Alexandros, but as Dagger, the free, independent warrior who saved Gaia, not a girl bound to the throne.

Her people accepted her decison and they happily embrace.
